After I file my 2023 tax return, when can I expect to receive my tax refund?

Answer

Per the IRS, most refunds for tax returns submitted electronically are issued within 21 days. Refunds for paper tax returns are typically issued within four weeks. 

Remember these are issue date estimates. You'll need to allow for a few days for the refund to reach your bank account or for a check to be mailed.
